International Music, Wine & Beer Festival-2days
May 26 & 27, 2012 -Mackinaw Valley Vineyard in Mackinaw will be hosting its ANNUAL MUSIC and INTERNATIONAL WINE AND BEER FESTIVAL
Two Days- Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 12pm-6pm,
This year will feature over 55 wines and over
45 beers for tasting and purchase from around the world. Rolling Meadows Brewery from
Springfield
Illinoiswill be joining us to represent the local microbrewery movement. RM Brewery
will be sampling–Abe’s Ale, Lincoln Lager and Springfield Wheat craft
beers. Morton Community Bank is our
corporate glassware sponsor and the Lions Club will be providing food
concessions with the proceeds going for charity. Artisan cheese and
confectionary chocolates sampling and sales will be by Ropp Jersey Cheese and The
Chocolatier in the pavilion. Saturday
and Sunday there will be music performed throughout the day.
MUSIC LINEUP
Saturday: Paul Stromberg
from 12-3pm, Matt Curry and the Fury from 3-6:30pm and at 7pm
Sister Groove and the Crosstown Jam will heat up the night with rock,
soul, disco and Motown.
Sunday :features the talents of great local performers;
Greg Williams 12-3pm and Colt45 and Johnny Walker 3-6pm.
Admission is $10 per person and the price
includes a souvenir wine glass and five tasting tickets, with additional
tickets available for $1 each. Kids

Ride, Brunch, Wine Tour and Tasting
The M & M Vineyard Bike ride is 15,30,40 and 60 miles. The 15 mile starts at 8:30am, 30 ,40 and 60 miles all start at 8am. The
bike ride starts and ends at The Mackinaw Valley Winery, one of Central
Illinois finest vineyards. Vineyards are something you expect to see in
California and not Central Illinois. This ride offers beautiful
rolling hills and some flats. Riders will have the option to
participate in a brunch, wine tour and tasting, after their ride. The
cost is $35 a person, pre-registration and $40 on site
registration. All rides begin at 8:30 am , Brunch at 11 am, Wine tour

You're invited to attend the Annual Mackinaw Valley Vineyard Art & Wine Festival at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard and Winery. Local artisans will have the opportunity to showcase their talents and sell their artwork. The artists invited specialize in ceramics, glass, wood, metal work, jewelry, oil painting and fiber. Local Car Clubs have been invited again to host a show at the event with cars from the groups on display. Wine tasting will be featured in the Art Pavilion as well as the tasting room and there will be live music performed throughout the day by Greg Williams. The kids have the own concrete canvas down by the lake to test their skills all day.
Admission is free, so please come out and support the arts community.

You’re invited to the Annual Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival to be held Sunday, September 2, from Noon to 6pm. We will have the grape stomp for those who have the desire to emulate Lucy and get their "feet” wet in the wine. Bring your cameras to preserve the moment and have proof of your endeavors in "wine making”. There will be wine tasting all day, food by The Catering Company and live music from The Shake performing throughout the day as MC's and "stompin rock" for everyone to enjoy. Yes is the answer for anyone who wants to come in costume dressed as a LUCY look-a- like all are welcome to dress up and have fun, no charge to enter Lucy contest.
